Meet Our Team

As President of DMS, Jake leads the  overall business functions with an emphasis on Marketing, Sales, and Union partnerships as well as driving strategy, vision and corporate culture. He has background in technology sales since graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. In his spare time, Jake enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, bow hunting and hunting land management.

Phil has led and delivered on complex projects from multi-million dollar homes to state of the art manufacturing facilities and everything in between.  With over 18 years of field experience and a Master Plumbing License, Phil has honed in his craft and looks to build upon the foundation that Davis Mechanical Systems has set forth in the market place. When not designing and running projects, Phil enjoys spending time with his children, wife Amy and smoking meats on his pellet smoker.

Experienced Mechanical Designer estimator with a demonstrated history of working in the architecture, construction & planning industry. Skilled in mechanical estimating, AutoCAD, HVAC, Engineering, Submittals, and Project Management. Strong engineering professional graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology.

Jeremy is a plumber/project manager and specializes in multi-family projects.  He has been with Davis Mechanical Systems for two years and has a degree for HVACR from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo Iowa (heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration).  He also has 22 years experience in plumbing, including being a  Journeymen Plumber for 16 years When he is not plumbing, he enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors.  He loves spending time with his wife of 20 years and their 2 teenage children while attending their sporting events (hockey, baseball, softball, volleyball).

2021 saw the addition of Project Manager, Scott Kemp to the Davis Mechanical team. Scott started his career in 1999 with Superior Mechanical in Rochester, Minnesota.  In the last twenty-three years, Scott has overseen various projects in the surrounding area.  Seven years of his early career were spent in  the housing department, where he worked on homes and multi-story apartment buildings.  After getting his MN master plumber license, he began managing commercial enterprises, including schools,  hospitals, hotels and restaurants.  This is where he originally trained and collaborated with Phil.  Scott relocated to Madison Lake with his wife, two children  and two St. Bernards in20220.  He was med gas certified and hold an Iowa  journeyman license. He is currently working to acquire his master's license in Wisconsin.  he is busy balancing a career and being a father and husband. During his leisure time, he enjoys the lake,outdoor projects, skiing,cooking, and hosting gatherings at his home. 

Craig holds a Bachelor’s degree from Concordia University and has a diverse background.  He brings over 12 years of experience in the HVAC industry in all aspects of installation, service, and refrigeration. Craig leads the refrigeration team, commercial service department in addition to overseeing the company safety program. When he isn’t working on HVAC systems, Craig enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in his kid's sports.

Casey has been with Davis Mechanical Systems for over 2 years.  Prior to Davis Mechanical, she was a stay at home mom for 5 years taking care of the homestead. Prior to that, she worked doing criminal background studies for Minnesota.   Her position at DMS has evolved and included AP/Certified payroll as well as many tasks- from contracts, subcontracts, accounts receivables, permitting, licensing, change orders, job set ups, project documentation and project budgeting to close out documentation, working with all our project managers, contractors and suppliers, and other office duties. Outside of work she spends as much time as she can with her two young boys and husband. Together they enjoy, hunting, fishing (summer and winter), camping, playing sports and exploring.  She loves to cook/grill, read and garden as much as she can.

Nick has worked in a manufacturing setting for 21 years, with the last 6 of them being a Supervisor of Quality Assurance.  Since joining Davis Mechanical Systems over a year ago, Nick  schedules service calls/techs, orders parts, sets meetings for project managers, and tracks the jobs.  He is married with 2 kids. and they enjoy watching Gopher football, making new meals on the smoker for friends and family and traveling when time permits.  He also watches his kids play hockey and cheers on his daughter's softball team with his wife.

Miranda has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from William Penn University and currently working towards a master’s degree in accounting with a specialization in business from Liberty University.   Since May 2021, she has prepared and reviewed financial documents, file taxes, and performed accounting tasks at Davis Mechanical Systems.   When not working, she likes spending time with family and friends, being outside, and bowling.

Sara has been with Davis Mechanical Systems for over a year. Prior to that, she received a MN School of Business 2 year accounting degree, Owned a Pizza Restaurant for 2 years.  She also  worked at Owatonna People’s Press scheduling ads and in Accounts Payable.  Plus, she managed a home daycare for 24 years.  Sara is married to Brian for 26 years and they have 2 boys Trase and Tyler.  They enjoy summer weekends camping at their  permanent site in Waterville and in winters,  love to ice fish. 

Jamie came to Davis Mechanical in 2022 and has over 18 years of experience inthe printing industry.  She s finishing her degree at Southern New Hampshire University.  When not working or in school, Jamie enjoys going to the dirt track races, Minnesota Wild and UMD Bulldog hockey, woodworking projects, and riding around on the side-by-side.

Paula has a background in customer service and manufacturing.  Since June 2022, she has been taking care of reviewing accounts payable invoices and making sure the team has everything in place for billing.  When not working with Davis Mechanical Systems, she likes to spend time at the lake. 

Callie has been with us since the spring of 2022 after graduating from Lakeville South High School.  She is currently attending the University of Mary in Bismakr, ND.  While at Davis Mechanical Systems, Callie works on construction project documents, tracking subcontractors, assisting project managers, coordinating office projects and communicating with the team and outside vendors. When she is not working or at school, Callie enjoys time with family and friends, being out doors, reading and playing sports.
